Another factor that you should consider while link exchanging to other websites is to focus on how they are setting up their site for a link exchange or on how they are offering for the link exchange.

You should find the “link page” (resources, link partners, reciprocal links page, etc.) on their home page that will take you to the links they are exchanging with. You should avoid exchanging links to the sites that hide or bury the link to their exchange partners.

You should find that the listing and categories they are using to place your links should be appropriate and visible. It should also be well categorized so that the visitors may find the links associated easily. Listing them in appropriate categories allows viewers quick access to the link of interest.
